Department of Transport and Main Roads’ (TMR) prequalified contractors and consultants for engineering projects are invited to attend an online Briefing for the Construction and Design Panels (PMD 18/25 & PMD 19/25) for the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program (BHTSP).



The BHTSP focuses on sections of the highway between Gympie and Cairns with a high safety risk and will deliver critical safety works including wide centre line treatments with road widening and audio tactile line marking, pavement strengthening, overtaking lanes, rest areas, improving intersections, and widening narrow structures.



This briefing will provide industry with a broad understanding of the contract types which will be used in the BHTSP Construction and Design Panels of interest to both contractors and consultants.
