Sorry, no Bill of Quantities available.

The design was done some time ago and I cannot locate any other supporting documents.

That is why we have put this out as a design/ construct project.

I was not planning a Tender Briefing. It is difficult to get people up here and I don't think it is necessary for this project.

All responses are to go through Vendor Panel.

To assist with the pricing of the job, NPARC will provide all sand, gravel and fill required for the project free to the contractor.

This material will be extracted from nearby (less than 10km) quarries or laydown areas. The contractor will be responsible for collecting this material as required.

Council will also supply all concrete for the project - free to the contractor.

Quantities of these materials must be supplied to NPARC well in advance so that we can ensure they are available to the contractor at the right time.

Price - 40%

Capability, Capacity, Experience of contractor (confirmed by Referees) - 30%

Engagement of local contractors and workers (as confirmed by IEOP) - 30%

Sorry, but I have provided all the information that I can at this time.

Records and drawings are fairly sparse and hard to find up here.

If there is more investigative work that needs to be done, you can build that into your pricing.

Alternatively, you could recommend an early works package, that would then allow you to refine the costs for the main project.

Yes, Council will provide accommodation during the construction period. We have a number of accommodation options available, ranging from 3 bed homes to singe dongas. It will all depend on what's available at that time. Council will provide the accommodation free of charge to the contractor.

I found the old design drawings and have issued them for information.

But NPARC do not have teams of engineers who can prepare BOQs and specifications for Civil projects such as this.

I will be looking for tenderers to include that in their proposals.

Answers to all the above questions can be found in the Sewer Augmentation Report which is included in the Documents Section of this request.

This is the latest information that we have available.

None of the flow meters attached to the Sewer Pump Stations are currently working, but we are working on rectifying that now.

At present only Bamaga and Seisia pump to the Bamaga Ponds.

The intention is to transfer Umagico, Injinoo and New Mapoon to Bamaga as well. We are currently undertaking other works to make that happen.

So the intended ADWF and PWWF for all 5 communities would be relevant for the Bamaga Ponds. Use the 2032 projections from the attached report.

Would Council have a tip truck and excavator to load out of town materials required to deliver to site as required free of charge?

Council does have some plant and vehicles that we can lend out to the project, but only on a short term basis, as our own work crews also require those vehicles and plant for their works.

It would be safer, from a programming point of view, for the contractor to bring their own plant and vehicles to Bamaga.

Alternatively, there are two civil contractors in Bamaga who can provide those items - Yusia and Rob's Earth Moving.
