Question:
Hello,

Can the Bligh Tanner set of engineering drawings be provided in DWG or DXF format?

This will speed up our tender process and allow us to view the strcutres details with more accuracy.

Thank you.

Answered on 28/Nov/2025 08:41 AM:

DWG drawings attached.

Question:
Hello, will we need to include to draw the parts for the concrete slab such as steel reinforcment? Thank you.

Answered on 28/Nov/2025 08:47 AM:

There is no requirement for slab details, only for the structures (hut, stairs and platforms). Please refer addendum N0.2

Question:
Dear Sir/Madam,

We are interested in participating in the RFQ titled “Conversion of Engineered Drawings (DLGWV2025-0189)”.

Before proceeding, we kindly request clarification on the following technical and scope-related items:

Hydrometric Stations -How many Hydrometric Stations are required to be converted into fabrication drawings under this scope?

Station Types-Are there only two major station types included in this RFQ (3.6 m and 2.0 m), or are there additional variants?

Scope of Fabrication Drawings-Does the required scope cover only the platform and stairs, or should we also include:

Roof details,

Support columns, and

Steel-sheeted wall details?

Engineering Design Requirements:

Is there any engineering component involved, such as design calculations, structural analysis, or design verification, or is the scope limited to drawing conversion only?

We would appreciate your clarification to ensure our submission is accurate and compliant with the requirements.

Thank you, and we look forward to your response.

Please refer addendum No. 1 for responses.

Question:
1.) The cover drawing S000_C1 shows that the full drawing set contains the details of the Hut on drawings S200, S201, S210, S211 & S12. Could these drawings be supplied, if the intent is that the hut is to be covered in this conversion set.

Answered on 01/Dec/2025 11:57 AM:

Apologies for the confusion arising from an earlier question.

The hut fabrication drawings are an existing design that we already possess therefore are not required to be created.

We do require everything to do with the stairs, handrails, platforms and supports etc to be created into fabrication drawings.

We do not require the concrete slab details.

Question:
Q1 - Can you please confirm that there are no requirements in the scope of work, in relation to the debris mat?

Q2 - Can you please confirm that the scope of work is limited to the preparation and supply of fabrication (shop) drawings for all items to enable fabrication, and that there is no requirement to provide assembly drawings or installation instructions for the construction of the platforms once they reach site?

Answered on 03/Dec/2025 08:25 AM:

Q1 There are no requirements for the debris mat.

Q2 Confirming that this is correct, no installation instructions or platform construction instructions required.

Question:
Dear Sir/Madam,

We would appreciate your clarification on the following items regarding the platform models:

1. Will we receive 100% completed 3D models of the two platform types (3.6 m and 2 m) that can be directly used for preparing the fabrication drawings?

2. Do these 3D models include individual component models separately?

3. What is the file format of the 3D models (e.g., STEP or IGES)?

Thank you.

Answered on 03/Dec/2025 08:26 AM:

Q1, 2, & 3 We do not have any 3D models of the structures, only the drawings provided by our engineering firm.

Question:
Hi!

Just seeking clarification on previous points.

Addendum 2 & 3 clarify requirements around which items need fabrication drawings - which I want to address here.

Firstly, regarding the handrails - the stanchions often are bolted to the platform - and as such the channels that make up the platform require specific clearance holes to allow mounting in these cases unless drilling is going to be occurring in the field. Is the plan for these platforms to have their handrail mounting faces welded to the platform on site? or perhaps drilled and bolted together on site? or should the clearance holes for those mounts be specifically detailed in the drawing?

Secondly, regarding the roofed structure, presumably this assembly would also have a specific mounting detail - does this need to be a consideration in the fabrication of the platform? Should we be providing specific clearance holes to allow mounting? If so - we will need access to this mounting detail.

Thirdly, regarding the stair case, in the addendum it's stated that the treads will be "off the shelf". The tread is just a grate, however I am concerned what the actual mounting detail for those treads is meant to be? is the "off the shelf" tread solution one that solves the mounting issue itself? Otherwise will there need to be specific clearance holes detailed on the stringers? or some other kind of mounting detail for the treads?

Cheers, I appreciate your time in creating a response.

Refer addendum No.4 for clarifying photos

Handrails - Welding in the field is not an option; therefore, a bolted solution is required. Photos (below) have been provided for context since we have existing designs we already use, the design has had minor tweaks to better suit our requirements.

These new engineered designs do not affect the stairs and rails greatly (preference is for thicker pipes to be used). More details will be provided to the successful tenderer.

Roof Structure - Yes, the required clearance holes must be detailed in the fabrication drawings (circa eight holes in specific locations), further details will be provided to the successful tenderer.

Staircase - The stringers do have clearance holes for the treads; the treads have mounting faces welded on their ends.

Please refer photos below for more guidance on the staircase.
