What the buyer is requesting

Details

The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for the design and construction (D&C) of a new Outdoor Learning Area (OLA) at McDowall State High School.

The OLA will be located in between two existing buildings and consist of new seating, paths, landscaping and play equipment suitable for the seniors (grades 4 to 6). All works are to be completed by October 2025.

The appointed principal contractor will be responsible for the full scope of works including design and must deliver a solution that reflects the school’s vision while meeting all applicable building codes, Australian Standards, and DoE guidelines.

Tenderers must hold the following licences and insurances, with proof to be provided upon request:

• QBCC Licence

• Professional Indemnity Insurance (to value of $1 million in accordance with the contract)

• Public Liability Insurance

• WorkCover Insurance
