What the buyer is requesting
Details
The State of Queensland (acting through the Queensland Police Service (QPS)) is seeking suppliers for the provision of Vehicle Fit-Out and Associated Equipment and Services.
The intent is to strategically engage multiple suppliers under a single Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA), with each offering one or more categories. This approach seeks to:
(1) Establish a pool of pre-qualified suppliers with the expertise and capability to provide vehicle fit-outs, manufacturing, equipment, and related services for the QPS both from an end-to-end and standalone basis.
(2) Support the Fleet Services Group (FSG) aim to attract a broad range of market suppliers to meet the growing demand for frontline vehicles while ensuring all engaged suppliers operate under the Queensland Government’s SOA terms and conditions.
(3) Allows for the inclusion of new supplier offers as products and services evolve or as QPS operational requirements change.
Suppliers are invited to make a formal offer on one (1) or more categories and geographical locations across Queensland.
The SOA may be used by other Queensland Government departments, agencies and statutory bodies.

Question
:
In relation to Category E - Vehicle Service Bodies, QPS has been asked to provide its specification in order for suppliers to quote.
Answered on 10/Dec/2025 03:20 PM

Question
:
Is the medium SUV drawer system steel specific or can other metals be used e.g. aluminium? If open to other metals are there any more specifications to be shared?
Answered on 12/Dec/2025 11:07 AM
:
QPS asks suppliers to quote on their standard offering. Accordingly suppliers producing primarily in an alternative metal e.g. aluminium, mild steel etc are invited to respond on that basis. This should not affect the specifications previously issued.

3. Is the fleet managed internally or by a fleet company?

5. Are fit-out services to be provided at current QPS facilities or suppliers' own locations?
Answered on 23/Dec/2025 02:40 PM

This may include shipment of replacement parts, assistance with diagnosis work and provision of installation documents.
