Good morning,

Regarding Mareeba Shire Council's 2026/27 Valve Renewal Program (T-MSC2026-14).

I'm the Australian Director of Oceanic Strategic Solutions (OSS), an Australian engineering and technical supply company working with an established UK valve manufacturer and supplier.

Having reviewed the tender, we're interested in exploring opportunities to support the program through valve supply and technical expertise.

Before proceeding, could you please clarify:

- Would Council consider a supply only proposal, or must valve supply form part of the principal contractor's submission?

- Does Council maintain an approved valve manufacturer or supplier list?

- Are specialist valve suppliers permitted to partner with local civil contractors for this tender?

We're also interested in future opportunities involving valve supply, engineering and water infrastructure.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Council would not consider a supply only proposal.

Council does not maintain an approved valve manufacturer or supplier list.

Specialist valve suppliers are permitted to partner with local civil contractors, however Council will not provide contractor details.
