Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking offers for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, testing, training, warranty support, and maintenance support for a Radiation Oncology CT Simulation System.

The procurement is critical to maintaining continuity of safe, reliable and contemporary diagnostic imaging services and supporting ongoing clinical requirements, including radiation oncology planning, interventional procedures and general medical imaging across Townsville and North Queensland, following the existing equipment reaching end of life in 2023.

Question:
Hi, could you please provide calrification on the following:

1. Is the "Appendix_3_Privacy_Impact_Assessment.docx" document required to be completed and returned with the tender response? We note that this appears to be an agency level document, rather than a document for equipment vendors. It is also not mentioned as a returnable on the Checklist on pg31 of "THHS-2026-1055_ITO_Part_C_Wide_Bore_CT_Machine_v2".

2. Please confirm the current and proposed Treatment Planning System (TPS) to be used in conjunction with the simulation CT system.

3. Please confirm the current and proposed linear accelerator (Linac) platform(s).

4. Does the department have a preferred respiratory gating solution? If so, please specify.

5. Does the department have a preferred flat-top couch indexing system?

6. Please specify any preferred or mandatory patient immobilisation devices and accessories.

7. Is an intravenous (IV) contrast injector required as part of the tender submission? If yes, please specify the preferred supplier and/or model.
