Swan Hill Rural City Council (Council) is seeking to undertake the construction of the Robinvale Off-Leash Dog Park within Centenary Park, including associated civil, landscaping, fencing, drainage, pathways, furniture and agility elements.

The works are intended to deliver a fit-for-purpose community asset that complements the recently completed Active Play space and addresses increasing community demand for a designated off-leash facility.

Council has received a request for clarification regarding the irrigation control requirements for the Robinvale Dog Park project.

The Robinvale Dog Park contract is structured as separable portions comprising Part A and Part B. Council reserves the right to award either Part A only or both Part A and Part B, depending on available budget and tender pricing outcomes.

Accordingly, the documentation has been prepared on the basis of separate irrigation control requirements for each separable portion to ensure that each area can operate independently if only Part A is awarded.

Tenderers are required to price the works in accordance with the issued design and specification.

Should tenderers identify alternative irrigation configurations that may provide cost efficiencies or improved value for money, these may be submitted as alternative or value engineering options, clearly identified within the tender submission for Council's consideration.

In light of the above clarification, Council does not consider an extension of time to be necessary.
