Council does not have a nominated or approved contractor for the acrylic surfacing works.

Tenderers are required to demonstrate compliance with the requirements outlined in the tender documentation, including relevant experience, methodology, quality assurance processes, and performance on comparable projects.

Evidence of successfully completed similar acrylic sports court installations will be considered favourably as part of the tender assessment process.

The files with extension .dwg can be opened using CAD or similar software or a viewer. The information available in plans and pricing schedule us sufficient to price the works. the dwg files are provided as an additional item.

Please refer to the contract specifications regarding the required surface levels and tolerances.

The contract does not stress on the method of construction. It is the tenderer's responsibility to determine the most appropriate construction methodology to achieve the specified levels, falls and surface tolerances, and price the works accordingly.

The tenderer may also wish to consult with their acrylic surfacing subcontractor/manufacturer regarding any specific substrate requirements that may influence the construction approach.

Please include disposal off-site costs in the provisional items section of the Price Schedule template. Council will work with the successful contractor to determine the quantities to be retained and disposed.

1) Drainage Works : Please advise if BOQ line item 5.1.2 and 5.3 are same. ( 150mm PVC pipes )

2) Evaluation Criteria : Please advise on how assessment will be done for "Compliance with Specification" ( 20% weightage ) since they are mostly related to delivery of works at site.

3) Tree Removal - Please advise if existing tree and Garden Bed removal as mentioned on demolition drawing 25100_02 are part of scope of works since they are not mentioned anywhere in the BOQ.

4) Bollards: Please advise on type of existing bollards. Also, please advise if we need to just remove and store at site or we need to relocate as well. If yes, please share location where we need to reinstall.

1. Item 5.1.2 is for the supply and installation of the 150mm dia pipework and item 5.3 is for connection of the 150mm dia pipework into the existing kerb and channel including supply and installation of kerb adapters.

2. Assessment will be based on the extent to which the submission demonstrates compliance with the requirements, specifications, standards, and performance outcomes outlined in the request documentation.

3. Thanks - can you provide a provisional price for removal of tree and garden beds?

4. Bollards - remove and retain on site.

Hi,

In the Pavement Make Up Table Option 1 for the moisture conditioned improved subbase layer (plans sheet 6 of 7), it says we are to compact the 200mm in two equal layers.

The pricing schedule doesn't confirm this. Can you please let us know if you want the 200mm layer moisture conditioned and compacted in two 100mm layers, or ripped 200mm and moisture conditioned and compacted in one layer.

Testing 100mm thick layers is not recommended by the geotesters we have worked with.

Yes, the tenderers can allow to rip to a depth of 200mm, moisture condition and compact in one 200mm thick layer to 96% MMDD.

Could you please confirm if there will not be any acrylic surfacing works in the concrete apron area. We are asking to confirm since there is no markup of these works on the plans and the BOQ doesn't quantify any area.

the concrete apron area doesnt requires acrylic surfacing.
