Hi,

SCADA programming and software integration are not included in this package. Physical installation and building-related provisions for the free-issued SCADA/control equipment are included as detailed in the Technical Specification. Tenderers are to review the Technical Specification for the full scope and associated interface requirements.

Hi,

While there is no mandatory site meeting for these works, tenderers are welcome to request an inspection of the site.

Tenderers may nominate their preferred date and time, and Council will coordinate a suitable time. Once confirmed, the nominated time will be made available to all tenderers, with the details advised via the VendorPanel question portal.

Site visit requests are to be submitted via the VendorPanel question portal.

Question:
P&ID-06 shows chlorine solution injected directly into the irrigation rising main, which operates against 85 m static head according to basis of design. This indicates a pressure of at least 8.3 bar before friction and terminal pressure. Assuming an injector differential pressure of 250 kPa, carrier water for the chlorination system needs to be supplied at approximately 11 bar or higher. The current PN12 solution pipework, 600 kPa instruments and undefined carrier-water pump duty do not appear suitable for this service.

Given the anticipated rising main pressure, can Council please advise whether the chlorine injection point may be relocated to the effluent pump suction, or whether the carrier water system and associated pipework should be upgraded to suit high-pressure injection into the rising main?

No site inspection will be undertaken as part of this tender package.

Tenderers are encouraged to review the available information and the 3D site view at the link below to familiarise themselves with the site and existing conditions:

• Can the council please confirm that the prefabricated building contractor is to deliver and land the buildings onsite with all onsite mechanical and electrical connections of the buildings to be by others?

• Noting the below free issued items:

? Effluent Pump Station Main Switchboard

? Main Building SCADA/Control Panel

? Effluent Pump Set

Is the intention for the prefabricated building contractor to install these free issued items within the buildings or simply make space for them to be installed by others?

• Drawing DRG-STR-010 shows a space for analyser equipment. Can the council please confirm this analyser equipment is the “Chlorine Residual Analyser Panel” noted in DRG-PID-06?

1. Council confirms that the Contractor is to deliver and land the buildings onsite will all the electrical and mechanical connections to be done by other contractors.

2. The free issue items, Effluent Pump Station Main Switchboard, SCADA/Control Panel and Effluent Pump Set will be delivered to the Contractors site for installation. These items are to be installed at the Contractors workshop. The intent is to ensure no fabrication is done on site.

3. Correct, The Chlorine Residual Analyser Panel noted in PID-06 must be located as per STR-010 ('Analysers Equip').

Question:
Good afternoon.

Can council please clarify flow and pressure requirements.

PID shows SCN 30001 with max flow of 66lps and model number SAF-X-4500.

this model cannot do that volume, Do we change model to suit 66lps, or assume lower flow rate and model is correct?

Also, design pressure states 10 bar. but pipe is specified in PN16.

Can we reduce the pipes to PN10?

1. The system flowrate is 20 L/s, the SAF-X 4500 model is to remain.

2. Keep the pipework design to PN16.

3. The SAF-X-4500 design pressure in PN10 for continuous operation. This selection has been validated by the OEM.
