Question:
Hi,

We would like to request extension to the tender closing date ideally by at least two weeks with the new closing date being COB 10/10/2025. The requested extension will provide us enough time to put forward appropriate detailed engineering solution with associated costing for all the variants in line with RFQ specifications.

Appreciate if you could please review our request and provide your response at your earliest. Thank you

Hi Jayesh,

I have just extended the date by one week to the 3rd October 2025 (03/10/2025). The time of closing will remain at 11:00AM AEST.

I cannot extend any further as it begins to impact other timelines.

Please reach out if you have any other further questions.

Question:
How many people will be travelling in the clinic?

What is the proposed delivery address for these vehicles?

Answered on 18/Sep/2025 11:42 AM:

Hi Mark,

Specification point 1.2 General Requirements.

One (1) Oral Health Professional, one (1) Dental Assistant in the vehicle cabin (driver and passenger);

One (1) Oral Health Professional, one (1) Dental Assistant, one (1) patient, and up to two (2) parents/guardians in the treatment area.

Typically, it will be Driver and Passenger in the cabin.

In the clinic area, it is typically Dentist, Assistant, Patient and up to 2 guardians can be in the waiting area/admin area instead of the main treatment area.

Your second question.

The ultimate delivery address will come down to the customer who orders it - that is, the individual hospital. The pricing schedule outlines the areas and the definitions and locations that these areas cover. This allows you to give pricing per delivery area. Alternatively, you can also opt out of delivery to certain areas if you wish.

Question:
How long will you be using the clinic for on a daily basis?

Do you have access to mains power connection whilst on site, if so is it a 10amp circuit or higher?

Will you be able to plug the car into mains power overnight?

Is the expectation that will be able to have a kettle and microwave in this car?

Answered on 19/Sep/2025 08:27 AM:

Q: How long will you be using the clinic for on a daily basis?

A: This question is hard to answer because every Hospital and Health Service (HHS) will have different demands. EG. A Metro HHS could do far more treatments in a day yet drive less, whereas a Rural could drive more, treat less. As an estimate ~8 hours per day in operation.

Q: Do you have access to mains power connection whilst on site, if so is it a 10amp circuit or higher?

A: All sites will have access to a 10AMP mains power connection.

Q: Will you be able to plug the car into mains power overnight?

A: This will depend on where the vehicle is located and stored - I would estimate that yes, the vehicle would be able to be plugged into mains overnight.

Q: Is the expectation that will be able to have a kettle and microwave in this car?

A: We are not expecting this.

------

For all of the above - please remember that we have a large variety of Hospitals, that cover a large geographical area.

We would expect that there is some level of communication between the purchaser and the supplier, at the time of ordering to come to a final build that may cover any additional addons/extras etc.

Question:
How long is the contract term?

Are there weighting percentages for the evaluation criteria?

Will all potential mobile clinic be based on the same build specification?

What is the weighting for local industry participation, that is to say are you open to vehicles being built in other states?

Q: How long is the contract term?

A: This is answered in Part B of the SOA - The term is 5 years, with a 1 x 5 year extension option.

Q: Are there weighting percentages for the evaluation criteria?

A: Part A, 1.7.2 has the evaluation criteria. Yes, these will be weighted, however, the exact weighing will not be made public at this time as that can influence/bias the offer.

Q: What is the weighting for local industry participation, that is to say are you open to vehicles being built in other states?

A: Yes, we are open to vehicles being built in other states.

Q: Will all potential mobile clinic be based on the same build specification?

A: All builds will be based on these specs. However, in the past, some hospitals have opted to upspec to, as an example, stainless steel benches in the administration room.

Generally, build options/upgrades are listed in the pricing schedule.
