The Queensland Government is seeking proposals from appropriately licenced building contractors for TOWNSVILLE CORRECTIONAL CENTRE (WOMEN’S & MEN’S), 22 DWYER STREET, TOWNSVILLE QLD 4811 to Principal Contractor for Modular Buildings (Design, Manufacture, Delivery, Site Works & Install).

All tenderers must hold QBCC Builders Licence.

Professional Indemnity Insurance - $1 million

Public Liability Insurance - $20 million

Pricing 60%, Non Price Criteria 40% (Methodology and Program, Key Personnel, Design and Construct Capability, Support for Social Enterprises and Inclusive Employment Practices)

MANDATORY TENDER BRIEFING has been scheduled for 2pm, Wednesday 13 May 2026.

Attendees MUST RSVP no later than 11am, Wednesday 6 May 2026 to QBuild Capital Procurement - QBuildCapitalProcurement@hpw.qld.gov.au ensuring attendees’ name and contact phone number is supplied.

No further site visits will be undertaken.

Failure to RSVP, will result in non-admittance to site.
