Good morning. For this Building Services SOA, submissions will only be accepted for holders of Builders licences. Any individual trades can only be subcontracted via builders awarded to the SOA.

Just to confirm from last response i saw. Individual trades, Such as a Electrical company can not apply for themselves to be a service Electrician for these works? It only gets awarded to one Building company and every mandatory trade has to work for that Building company and be under there banner?

Thank you for your query. Eligibility for this Standing Offer Arrangement is restricted to Builders Licence holders. All other trades/services will be subcontracted as needed by the awarded builders.

This SOA will only be awarded to builders, holding relevant QBCC builder's licence. Other trades/services referred to will be sub-contracted on an as-needs basis to successfully awarded builders.

Question:
1. Could you please advise whether there is a platform or process available that allows subcontractors to connect with the builders currently tendering for this project?

2. Additionally, could you confirm that if a company does not hold a QBCC builder’s licence — for example, an electrical contractor — the only way to participate in the project through Q-Build would be as a subcontractor to the QBCC-licensed builder who is ultimately awarded the tender?

1. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this information due to probity and privacy restrictions around disclosure of offeror details throughout the tender process.

2. Correct. The only way trades outside the builder's licence can participate in work under this SOA is to be subcontracted to an awarded builder.

I refer to 12.Part_C_Response_Schedules – QBTCBLD26SEQ, tab 04. Local Content, 4.1 Depot and Office Locations.

I am trying to enter our locations, but the dropdown menu under Town/Suburb – Postcode doesn’t list any Brisbane suburbs and won't allow us to override it.

Will there be an addendum to rectify this error?

Upon review, there doesn’t appear to be any issue with the Part C – Response Schedule - Local Content tab. We have tested the document, and it seems to be functioning as expected.
