We’re also home to the Office of Racing, supporting the governance and administration of the racing industry across the state.

The State of Queensland acting through the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games (DSROPG) are inviting offers from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of Sport Venues Security Services.

The Customer will hold a briefing session at

* Townsville Sports Precinct: Wednesday 3 June 2026, 10am to 12pm

* Toowoomba Sports Ground: Friday 5 June 2026 10am to 12pm

* Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct: Monday 8 June 2026, 10am to 12pm

* Gold Coast Performance Centre: Tuesday 9 June 2026, 9:30am to 11:30am

* Gold Coast Recreation Precinct: Tuesday 9 June 2026, 1pm to 3pm

It is mandatory for Suppliers to attend the briefing session/s in order to submit an offer. Suppliers must register to attend this briefing by emailing procurement@sport.qld.gov.au by 10:00am on Tuesday 2 June 2026 listing the names of those Supplier representatives attending.

The scope of the potential Contract will cover the following requirements (see Part B: Contract Details, Schedule 1 Requirements for full details)

The Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games (the Department) manages a portfolio of sporting venues across Queensland, including the Gold Coast Recreation Precinct (GCRP), Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct (SCRP), Gold Coast Performance Centre (GCPC), Townsville Sports Precinct (TSP) and Toowoomba Sports Ground (TSG). Security services are a critical operational requirement across all five venues to ensure the safety and security of patrons, staff, athletes, assets and infrastructure. The Department is seeking suitably qualified and licensed security service providers to deliver comprehensive security services using a Group and Venue quoting structure, with the SEQ venues (GCRP, SCRP, GCPC) contracted as a Group and the regional venues (TSP, TSG) available to be quoted individually.

Supplier must submit their offer in accordance with the following quoting structure:

* Group (GCRP, SCRP, GCPC) – respondents must submit itemised pricing for all three South East Queensland venues. Offers for only one or two venues within the Group will not be accepted.

* TSG (Regional Queensland) – may be quoted as a standalone offer.

* TSP (Regional Queensland) – may be quoted as a standalone offer.

Respondents may submit pricing for the Group, one or both regional venues. Offers will be assessed on a per Group/Venue basis.
