What the buyer is requesting
Details
The purpose of ICT11010 Anatomical Pathology Specimen Tracking Solution is to procure a fit-for-purpose software solution which provides the best value-for-money to meet the needs of Queensland Health.

Anatomical Pathology (AP) has historically relied upon manual workflows which are at high risk of human error leading to potentially significant patient risk. In addition, automation and digital reporting are becoming available, both of which are reliant on modern IT systems to support their functioning. Implementation of an AP specimen tracking solution will improve patient safety, enable digital reporting, provide the IT connectivity for automation and improve overall productivity.

The Customer has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives to:

- identify a fit-for-purpose solution which aligns to Queensland Health’s requirements

- derive the best value for money in accordance with Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP) targets and commitments and other relevant Queensland Government procurement related policies and procedures

- deliver ongoing support arrangements for the solution

- agree high levels of Service assurance through the formalisation of definitive Service Levels as specified within an agreed Contract

- provide a robust set of contractual documents with the successful Supplier, that will inform the commercial basis for all required Products/Services.

Queensland Health encourages competitive processes through this ITO. Suppliers are encouraged to request any additional background information required to complete their response and Queensland Health will endeavour to provide this information.
