MNHHS seeks to ensure its Metro North Retail Service (MNRS) environments consistently reflect excellence, reliability, and value. High-quality café services form a key component of this experience, supporting a welcoming and professional environment across MNHHS facilities.

To assist in achieving this, MNHHS wishes to establish a contract with an experienced Supplier for the provision of fresh café-grade coffee beans, associated consumables, and commercial coffee equipment services. The intent is to secure a coordinated, high-quality supply arrangement that strengthens consistency, improves operational efficiency, and delivers value for money across all MNRS retail outlets.

This procurement activity intends to:

• Standardise the supply of fresh coffee beans or associated blends, supplementary beverages, and café consumables to ensure consistent product quality and service delivery.

• Enhance service offerings through the availability of high-quality blends, single origins, decaffeinated options, customised products, and optional retail-branded items as applicable.

• Obtain competitive pricing for the supply of fresh coffee beans and related consumables. In addition, MNHHS requires the provision and management of suitable commercial coffee equipment supplied at no additional cost for the duration of the agreement. Equipment management is to include installation, calibration, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance and support to ensure reliable, high-volume retail operations.

• Improve efficiency through consolidated vendor management supported by defined service levels, effective asset management, structured maintenance schedule/s, and a clearly established service desk and support model.

• Support MNHHS objectives under the Queensland Procurement Policy by prioritising engagement with local suppliers and products made, grown or produced in Queensland, ensuring they are ethically sourced and environmentally responsible in their packaging.

• Enable controlled brand promotion and café experience enhancements through approved advertising and signage that align to MNHHS safety, accessibility, and sustainability requirements.
