1. Local: Small (business employing 1-19 full time equivalent employees) to medium enterprises (business employing up to 199 full-time equivalent employees) seeking to offer goods and services within a 250 km radius of their location; and

2. State-wide: Suppliers seeking to offer goods and services outside a 250 km radius of their location and/or throughout the entire state of Queensland.

Question:
Is QED123861 completely replacing SOA 65864?

We are currently a supplier on SOA 65864 which comprises Educational Supplies, Text Books and accompanying Digital Resources and Arts and Crafts.

However In Tranche 2, the only "books" that are included in the scope document are:

ART & CRAFT SUPPLIES - Art Books and

CLASSROOM SUPPLIES - Back to School Resource Packs - Textbooks

OUT OF SCOPE says: Ebooks Refer SOA TQC0012417 - Library Resources (or the current equivalent):

Electronic resources.

Books and/or audio-visual items; and

Subscription services etc.

If BOOKS are not included in the SCOPE, where does that leave us in regards to the supply of educational textbooks, workbooks, library books, reading schemes etc?

If QED123861 is mandatory for schools but does not include this key area, can we continue to supply schools with textbooks?

Hi Team,

Could you please clarify the requirements relating to confidentiality and privacy?

In Part A – Invitation to Offer (Part C State-Wide), the document instructs us to complete and return Attachment 3 – Confidentiality and Privacy COI; however, we are unable to locate Attachment 3 within the pack.

Additionally, in QED123861-ITO-CUSA Part C – Supplier Response Schedules, the document refers to Part C, Attachment No. 2.

Could you please confirm which document is required and/or clarify the requirements for this section?

Question:
What does it mean for a product to not be awarded on Core Products List (70% of spend)? IE, do products that are available outside of Core Products List get the same access by Eligible Customers? For example, Eligible Customers are currently purchasing 6 different types of folded hand towel, but the RFT document only allows maximum 3 (Core Option, Value Option and Environmentally Friendly option) within the Core Products List, what does that mean for the other 3? Are they as freely available for purchase on a catalogue as the Core Products List?

Question:
We are in regional Queensland and wish to respond as local supplier in our region only. While there is an option for a 250km radius the delivery cost do vary.

Schools within our normal delivery area will be free delivery whereas some of the more remote schools may have a much higher delivery fee.

Are we able to either

List the school delivery charges per school or

Break delivery down as distance from towns - eg within 50 km from Mackay, Sarina, etc.
