Question:
It would appear that some of the scope should be classified as building works. Does GAWB require companies that complete an EOI to maintain an appropriate License from QBCC to deliver these works?

Certain elements of the scope (e.g. amenities building, shelters, plumbing, drainage) are classed as “building work” under the QBCC Act. Contractors must hold, or engage appropriately licensed subcontractors who hold, the relevant QBCC licence(s) to lawfully perform this work. Respondents should confirm their current QBCC licence(s) or proposed arrangements as part of their EOI response.

Thank you for the enquiry relating to this EOI. There will be no scheduled site visit during the EOI procurement phase for this project. You are welcome to visit Castle Tower area of the Lake Awoonga Recreational Area anytime.
