Yurika has a requirement to contract with a tier 1 retailer who can purchase generated electricity from Yurika and on-sell it to the market. Yurika currently has 42.83 MW of available capacity for purchase, and this is forecast to rise up to a maximum of 47.12 MW during the contract term.

Yurika owns a number of generation assets and has agreements with other generators, known as Virtual Power Plants (VPPs), from which electricity can be exported. VPPs allow energy to be injected into the grid to address frequency and voltage imbalances, local disruptions or disturbances and keep the network stable.

Respondents are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the delivery of the scope by completing and submitting the attached response schedules. Through this market activity, the Principal will identify suitable retailer(s) for shortlist to a Request for Tender (RFT).

Respondents to the EOI must be able to meet the Mandatory Evaluation Criteria detailed in the Invitation for Expression of Interest document, including technical compliance and minimum capacity requirements. Respondents must be able to provide demonstrated experience of managing the minimum capacity requirements (42 MW).
