Details
The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) invite suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for the DES1242588 - Boodjamulla Visitor Infrastructure project.

QPWS are seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to act as ‘Principal Contractor’ for the construction of Visitor Infrastructure related elements of the Boodjamulla Recovery Project at Boodjamulla National Park (Aboriginal Land).

**Important Dates**

Last date for Supplier Clarifications: 2:00pm Queensland Time on Friday, 22 May 2026

Tender Closing Date: 2:00pm Queensland Time on Wednesday, 27 May 2026


Minimum eligibility requirements are as follows:

• QBCC Licensing, registration and accreditation

• Copy of Certificate of Currency of required insurance policies


Tenderers are advised that the following may apply to the project:

• Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 Project Trust Accounts

• Occupational Health and Safety Audits for Queensland Government building projects


Mandatory Online Industry Briefing

This Request for Tender has a mandatory online industry briefing delivered via Microsoft Teams at 10:00 on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

Pricing item 2.3 - Engineering drawings for D.1 IS1 - Page 34 of Plan 2813 - it states refer to engineering drawings for construction details, are these available? and if yes would 2.3 be required. Are engineer inspections required for the footings as stated on the plan?
