EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - Gympie Arterial Road Connection (Carseldine - Bald Hills) Planning

Following on from Notice to Market released 17 September2025 the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Metropolitan Region are inviting suitably prequalified consultants to submit Expressions of Interest for Gympie Arterial Road Connection (Carseldine - Bald Hills) Planning.

Mandatory prequalification levels are as below:

- Bridge Design BD3

- Geotechnical Engineering GE3

- Highway Engineering HE3

- Hydraulic Design HD3

- Intelligent Transport Systems ITS3

- Traffic Engineering TE3

- Transport Planning TP3

Eligible prequalified consultants can be provided access to the EOI package on Vendor Panel by emailing metropolitan.projects@tmr.qld.gov.au with their company name, ABN number and contact details for access to the EOI package.

Gympie Arterial Road, north of Beams Road in Carseldine, is a 6-kilometre section of limited access arterial road connecting Brisbane’s northern suburbs to the Bruce Highway at Bald Hills. This area is where several existing and future road links of national and state significance converge and need to interconnect. A masterplan of the future connections is needed along with a staging strategy that aligns with the implementation of future road links.

This EOI is the first stage of a two-stage invitation process. The EOI offers will be evaluated using the non-price assessment criteria stated in this document and at least two (2) Respondents will be shortlisted. Only the shortlisted Respondents will progress to the Invitation to Offer (ITO) stage and Respondents are strongly encouraged to ensure that the nominated team at the EOI phase continues to the ITO.
