Racing Queensland (RQ) is seeking offers from suitably experienced Suppliers for the refurbishment of horse stables at Cairns Jockey Club

The successful Tenderer will be engaged via an RQ Works Agreement to complete the works.

No. Site measures of the existing buildings is how we derived the tender drawings. Further site measures by contractor once onsite will be required.

1. Is painting the blockwork walls, including the internal feed / tack room walls / ceilings, part of this tender works?

2. There are some existing ceilings in the feed / tack rooms that is suspended off the current roof / supports. Are these to be left in place and reconnected? If so, as per it is currently or to standards / seismic restraint engineering / cert?

A: All blockwork to be cleaned and painted as shown on documentation.

Q: There are some existing ceilings in the feed / tack rooms that is suspended off the current roof / supports. Are these to be left in place and reconnected? If so, as per it is currently or to standards / seismic restraint engineering / cert?

A: Current roof supports to be reinstated to current Australian Standards.
