Question
:
• Are 5 yearly inspections included as there is no line or unit rate field within the pricing schedule, example 5 yearly extinguisher changeovers would differ according to type/size?
• Reactive pricing Schedule, symbols are replacing $ values
Master site register
– Emergency and exit lighting is entered at a cost of $450.00 on the proactive pricing schedule however is populating at $15.00 on the master site register, formula looks incorrect =Z9*'Proactive Pricing Schedule'!$B$13
– Extinguishers is entered at a cost of $15.00 on the proactive pricing schedule however the formula looks incorrect =AB3*'Proactive Pricing Schedule'!$B$14 on the master site register, 8 extinguisher $3600.00?
– There is no line to add the hydrant or hose reel flow testing within the Proactive Pricing schedule. It cannot be included per unit as it is carried out against the most disadvantaged asset therefore an individual unit rate
– Hose Reels is entered at a cost of $18.00 on the proactive pricing schedule however the formula looks =V10*'Proactive Pricing Schedule'!$B$11on the master site register, 2 hose reels $480.00? It looks as though it is populating the Emergency and Exit lighting pricing

Question
:
Good afternoon team,
We are in the process of compiling our tender response.
In the pricing matrix we note the below requirements.
* Annual Service Price must include all required service frequencies per annum i.e. Monthly / 6 Monthly / Annually / 5 Yearly
We are able to provide pricing up to the Annual level. To adequately prepare 5 yearly pricing we will require some additional information before we are able to provide a quotation for the 5-yearly services. In particular, we will need confirmation of the type and size of extinguishers installed, as well as the type of devices connected to the FIP, including whether the system is addressable or conventional.
Once we have this information, we will be in a better position to prepare an accurate quotation. Or are we to only quote the services up to the Annual services.
Kind Regards
Fletcher Norman

Question
:
Hi City of Ipswich,
Upon review of the pricing sheet there seems to be a formular error. It seems the formulas on the “master site register tabs” are pulling form the cells in the “proactive pricing Schedule” tab. Looks like when adding the “hydrostatic pricing” retrospectively so all the assets under it send to the wrong cells.
Could you please review the sheet and advise.
We have amended the formular at our end so we can proceed with pricing.
Kind regards,
Natalie Beecham

Question
:
Please be aware that the formulas used in the pricing schedule are incorrect. The cells for prices in the Proactive Testing and Maintenance tab are not referenced correctly in the Master Site Register or the Master Site Register NSP. EG. In the Master Site Register NSP column extinguishers it references cell B14 rather than the intended B15. This results in incorrect pricing.

Question
:
had a quick look at the pricing returnable and have quick question.
I noticed that “Fire Hydrant Hydrostatic Testing” is included under proactive maintenance, but there isn’t a corresponding column in the “Master Site Register” from the client to reflect this pricing.
Also, it looks like the formula is pulling the value from cell B11 (“Fire Hydrant Hydrostatic Testing”) when calculating the Fire Hose Reels annual cost, instead of using cell B12 (“Fire Hose Reels”).
I feel like these might be errors since Fire Doors, EEL, Extinguishers and Blankets are also linked to the wrong cell. Could you please have a look into this?
Also, could you please provide the maintenance time/frequency, labour rate, and any materials you have allowed for the following asset types?
Fire Hydrant Hydrostatic Testing
Fire Pump Sets
Emergency and Exit Lighting
Thank you in advance.

Hello
1. Now that the separate 5-yearly spreadsheet for costings has been issued, please validate the instruction on the "Proactive Pricing Schedule":

Should the new instruction be:

2. Row 11 on "Proactive Pricing Schedule" is labelled FIRE PUMPSETS. Please confirm if you require costs to include diesel engine service annually. If so, please confirm that the definition and type of pumpsets. The Master Site Registers nominate either 1 or 2 under Fire Pumpsets.
Please confirm 1 pumpset = 1 x fire pump
Please confirm 2 pumpset = 2 x fire pumps
Please also confirm if each pump is diesel or electric for accurate costings to be provided.
3. Row 11 on "Proactive Pricing Schedule" is labelled FIRE HYDRANT HYDROSTATIC TESTING. This is a 5-yearly activity. Is the intent of this row to capture the Annual Fire Hydrant System Flow Test?
Thank you.
