Question:
Hello,

To help us tailor our methodology appropriately, is there a budget range we should be working within for this project? Even a broad indication would help ensure we're aligned with your requirements and realistic in our approach.

Regards,

Julia

Answered on 02/Jul/2025 02:24 PM:

The RFQ is deliberately open-ended in relation to budget. Our advice is to be specific in relation to project deliverables and costings. Suppliers may wish to offer scalable price points or other options to support flexibility in pricing and value. I can suggest an indicative project budget window of $15K to $30K, however suppliers submitting a proposal that showed a cost outside this window would still be considered.

Thank You.

The site is undeveloped and no drawings of buildings exist. The building envelope is approx 900m2

Thank You.

Question:
The scope for a visitor centre in today's terms can be anything from a retail with brochures model to a more digital experience, potentially with ties back to the region via an engagement platform, through to providing a visitor experience on site such as immersive AR, historical and artefact storytelling, physical interactive displays, etc. Can you either expand on what level of experience you hope to provide, or what budget you think is feasible?

This RFQ mentions 'development of a visitor hub, including a providore with farm gate retail offerings.' This is the broad direction, with the expectation the consultant will develop the concept further, including the in-store experience and feasiblity.

Thank You.

Question:
To Loddon Shire Council - Clarification Question

This is clearly a generational economic development opportunity for Loddon Shire, and we’re pleased to be exploring how we might contribute to it.

In shaping how best to scope and resource this opportunity, is there any guidance available on the anticipated or indicative budget range for this work?

We appreciate that exact figures may not be published, but any context, such as expected scale or constraints, would help ensure our approach is proportionate and aligned with Council’s intent, expectations, and the needs of the local community and visitors.

Many thanks.

Question:
Hi - a few queries regarding this project:

1/ Is there a budget or budget range (this will help to refine the approach and number of potential options to examine)?

2/ How flexible are the timeframes (a draft by end of September only allows for around 6 weeks to complete all tasks)?

3/ Are any design works/concept designs required as part of the concept development?

Thanks

There is flexibility to extend project deadlines, if warranted and agreed.

3/ Are any design works/concept designs required as part of the concept development?

No. A design or illustration might effectively depict the concept in development, but there is certainly no requirement for detailed drawings or designs in the scope at this stage of the project.
