Located in the heart of Central Queensland, the Rockhampton Region is situated 570 km north of Brisbane and approximately 300 km south of Mackay. The Region spans an area that’s covers the communities of Mount Morgan and Gracemere and boasts the City of Rockhampton as the main service centre for the wider Central Queensland Region. Rockhampton Regional Council provides a range of local government infrastructure and services, including: water and wastewater services; waste collection and disposal; construction and maintenance of roads, parks, reserves, sports and community facilities; and a wide variety of community services. Council also owns and operates the Rockhampton Airport and Fitzroy River Water.

Council is seeking the supply of all labour, plant, equipment and materials for the supply, delivery, storage, and the installation associated with the replacement of 16 roller doors and retrofitting safety devices to 2 roller doors at it's Dooley Street Depot Fleet Workshop, including not limited to:

- Positively location and protection of all existing services. Make good if relocated or terminated.

- Demolition of existing items as required to complete the Works, if not expressly listed for demolition the

contractor must confirm with Superintendent prior to works.

- Construction of all temporary and permanent structures including QA, compliance testing & certification.

- Reinstate all disturbed surfaces and infrastructure as they were found prior to construction.

- Provision of all manufacturer’s extended and contractor’s warranties with maintenance periods as stipulated

in the tender documents.

- A Form 16 to be supplied on completion of works.

- The contractor is to ensure the works comply in accordance with Local Council and other statutory authority

requirements

- All Operational, Maintenance Manuals and warranties (1 x hardcopy, 1 x Electronic) to the satisfaction of

Council; and

- Any other documentation necessary to achieve Practical Completion under the terms of Contract to the

satisfaction of Council.
