CQUniversity (CQU) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Contractor to design and construct a Student Recreation Space within Building ROK034 by converting two (2) existing teaching spaces (Rooms G.08 and G.10) into one (1) room.

The project forms part of the Rockhampton TAFE Excellence Precinct Project and supports CQUniversity's commitment to enhancing the student experience by providing informal spaces where students can socialise, have meals and relax between classes.

The project will be delivered under a Design and Construct (D&C) contract - AS4902-2000 (Amended).

CQUniversity has developed concept drawings to establish the intended layout and design direction. These drawings are provided as part of the tender documentation and are to be used as the basis for further design development. The Contractor shall develop the design through to construction documentation in accordance with CQU’s Design Standards Manual v29 and be responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals to deliver a complete, fully operational student recreation space.

The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, plant, equipment, supervision and professional services necessary to achieve Practical Completion.
