Question:
Hi

Are you able to provide us with any additional information about the number of plants to be planted at each site? Or the expected timing of the works?

Thanks very much.

Answered on 18/Mar/2026 12:36 PM:

We have no defined number of plants. We would estimate up to 2,000 plants in area A and up to 1,000 in Area B at Alva. We are closing off tracks and requesting in-planting of the tracks. This is the focus of the revegetation work. However, there may be some spot areas to infill outside of the tracks but that will depend on remaining plants. The tracks are one vehicle (4WD) wide. Wunjunga would be mainly trees/shrubs, also infill planting up to 500 plants.

In relation to timing for revegetation, we would estimate that both areas would be completed around November – January to allow for propagation time for the plants. Other works can commence earlier as appropriate. We would be prioritising the fencing at the blowout after Council conducts re-profiling, as the first task.

Question:
Hi. Are you able to provide any more information about what is needed for the rock barriers? Is it as simple as a sleeper retaining wall? Please also confirm the required height.

Also with the PVC wires, how many line wires are required between star pickets? or is it just a single wire?

Answered on 20/Mar/2026 02:41 PM:

We have added a photo of an example rock barrier, this one is at the beach access on Causeway Road, Alva. The rocks are between 60 and 80cm high, the width may vary.

In the Scope we have asked for 3 strands of wire refer to 2.2b) ii and 2.3d) iii.

The mandatory question will be required at time of lodging your response. The verification is that your quote is based on the amended Scope and not the original document.
