What the buyer is requesting
Details
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified chemical waste disposal service providers to orchestrate three two-day Household Chemical Cleanout (HCC) events each Financial Year, two at Blaxland Waste Management Facility and one at Katoomba Waste Management Facility.

The contract term is three years plus two one-year extensions at Council's discretion. The first HCC event in this term would be held in August 2027.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Details
Council offers the HCC events to allow residents of the Blue Mountains LGA to bring in their unwanted chemical waste to the two waste management facilities at no charge. The Contractor is required to stage and operate these events on behalf of Council.

Council operates a NSW Government-funded Community Recycling Centre (CRC) at each facility. The HCC events complement the CRCs by accepting household chemicals that are not accepted at the CRCs.
