What the buyer is requesting

Details

Fitzroy River Water (FRW), a business unit of Rockhampton Regional Council (RRC), is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the design and construction of the New Mechanical Maintenance and Critical Spares Shed at the Glenmore Water Treatment Plant (GWTP).

The proposed facility will be located adjacent to an existing critical spares shed and is intended to enhance the site's mechanical maintenance capabilities and storage capacity. This shed forms part of a broader infrastructure upgrade program at the site, which includes improvements to surrounding hardstands, carparks, and other civil infrastructure. However, works external to the shed footprint are excluded from the scope of this contract.

The shed shall incorporate an internal overhead crane system to enable lifting of equipment and parts for service and maintenance activities. The design, supply, and installation of the crane and all associated structural and electrical infrastructure are included within the scope of works.
