Details
QPWS&P are seeking to engage a suitably qualified professional to administer the Wallaman Falls Camping Area Upgrade construction contract as Superintendent.

The Superintendent will be responsible for all administrative aspects of the role, including adhering to legislative requirements such as the Building Industry fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017. Following appropriate communication with QPWS&P, the Superintendent will approve variations, extensions of time with cost implications for the project and all progress certificates.

Wallaman Falls is located within Girringun National Park on the traditional lands of the Warrgamay Aboriginal people and is the highest, permanent, single-drop waterfall in Australia.

Wallaman Falls attracts approximately 75,000 to 100,000 visitors annually and forms part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, home to some of the world’s oldest rainforests and many endangered plant and animal species.

Located approximately 51km south-west of Ingham, about 1hr drive through rural properties, Wallaman Falls is accessible via a sealed bitumen road, suitable for conventional vehicles.
