Queensland Health (QH) has a need to implement a low-code Quality Information Management System, to ensure that QH’s business areas maintain accreditation and certification in alignment with legislative standards.

Details

The Quality Information System v2.0 (QIS2) is a web-based in-house platform supporting QH's quality improvement, compliance, and accreditation efforts, offering functional modules for document management, quality improvement tracking, Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), calibration management, auditing, reporting, and training, while streamlining communication and task management through user. The QIS2 application is nearing end of life and poses risks to Queensland Health’s operational effectiveness and compliance. This project seeks to replace QIS2 with a contemporary Quality Management System.

Replacement or renewal of the QIS2 application needs to occur to continue supporting the state-wide delivery of quality services ensuring that all quality and accreditation requirements and standards are being met. QH requires a low-code solution to facilitate rapid configuration, iterative deployment, and ongoing modifications of workflows, forms and business rules without reliance on vendor specific technology.
