Question:
We are a manufacturer and supplier of castings for civil infrastructure applications. We do not provide civil construction crews, site supervision, plant operators, labour or construction plant.

We are interested in supplying castings and cast metal components to Council or its appointed contractors where required.

Could Council please confirm whether suppliers of manufactured cast metal components are intended to be eligible under Tender 27011, and if so, which sections of the Tender Response are applicable to a casting manufacturer/supplier?

In particular, we would appreciate clarification regarding the requirements for Operator/Contractor Competency, Work Crews and Plant Details, as these do not apply to our business model.

If castings are not intended to be covered by this arrangement, could Council please advise how this type of supply is normally procured?

We are an asphalt services contractor specialising in road patching, asphalt pavement maintenance and asphalt resurfacing works.

Could Council please clarify whether these services fall within the scope of this tender, or whether asphalt works of this nature would generally be engaged under Council’s Register of Prequalified Suppliers for Wet Hire of Equipment arrangement?
