Suppliers are invited to submit an offer for Invitation to Offer No. P264283 for the purchase of Crocodile Monitoring and Capture services for the Cairns Active Removal Zone (ARZ) extending from Trinity Inlet to Ellis Beach, as prescribed under the Queensland Crocodile Management Plan 2025 (QCMP 2025).

The Queensland Crocodile Management Plan (QCMP) 2025 provides the State's overarching framework for managing estuarine crocodiles across Queensland. This tender supports the implementation of the QCMP 2025 by seeking a suitably qualified service provider to undertake crocodile monitoring, survey, capture, and removal activities within the Cairns Active Removal Zone. Through proactive surveillance, targeted removals and timely reporting, the contract will contribute to reducing risks to public safety while ensuring crocodile management activities are undertaken in accordance with legislative, environmental, and animal welfare requirements.
