Details
Livingstone Shire Council is inviting tenders to establish a Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA) for the Supply and Delivery of Specialised Plant Hire (wet hire with experienced operators) across the Shire. The contract will support Council’s ongoing civil, construction, maintenance and infrastructure works.

The PSA covers a broad range of high-risk specialised plant and services, including cranes, concrete cutting and pumping, elevated work platforms, vacuum trucks and excavation, stabilisers, road profiling, water jetting, underground service location, and weed spray utilities.

Engagements will be on an as-required, non-exclusive basis, with no guaranteed volume of work, and suppliers must meet stringent work health and safety, environmental, insurance and performance requirements to ensure safe, reliable and compliant service delivery.

Good afternoon. Our company offers supply and delivery of specialised plant hire for both wet and dry hire. Are we able to adjust the price schedule to add these rates for specialised dry hire equipment. Thanks for your consideration in advance.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your enquiry. Council advises that the tender specification has been developed in line with its operational needs and specifically requires specialised plant hire on a Wet hire basis.

At this time, dry hire is not included within the scope of the tender and Council is not seeking to amend this requirement.

Tenderers must ensure their submissions align with the specification as issued.

1. Closing time for questions from tenderers – Thursday, 28 May 2026 at 2:00pm

2. Revised closing time for the tender - Thursday, 04 June 2026 at 2:00pm

Please note that this extension does not affect the timing for awarding the tender. The contract is still scheduled to commence on 1 July 2026 and Council will provide advice on the outcome ahead of this date.

No further requests for extension will be granted.
