Question:
We note that Schedule 19 requires separate lump sums for the two separable portions; however, the BOQ and quantities are provided as a combined set. Could you please confirm if we can submit a single lump sum for the entire project as per the BOQ.

Answered on 21/Feb/2025 09:08 AM:

A detailed cost break-up is required for each of the seperable portions and should be submitted in the format of the BOQ.

As confirmed during the site inspection of 18 February, the contractors are to assume that should both seperable portions be delivered, this will be in a single site attendance with the works to be delivered progressively in a single phase.

Question:
Hi SMRC,

We’d like to request an extension of time until 7th March for this project. Please let us know if this is possible.

Thanks!

Answered on 12/Feb/2025 02:19 PM:

Unfortunately, an extension cannot be granted. This project is time critical.

Question:
1. Can the council please provide a tree report on the relevant trees slated for removal with heights, trunk sizes, and canopy widths?

2. Can the council confirm whether the proposal should be submitted with the provided BOQ, or do we need to make separate BOQs for two separable portions?

Answered on 21/Feb/2025 09:09 AM:

1. This will be addressed in the REF which Council intends to issue during the tender period.
