Question
:
The Floor Finishes Plan nominates FF1, FF2 and FF3, however the exact areas these finishes apply to are unclear and currently ambiguous.
Clause 4.1 notes that finishes are to be read in conjunction with the FFE Schedule and that:
• Vinyl flooring is required to kitchenette/dining and storeroom
• Carpet tiles are required elsewhere
• Seamless transitions are required
Request
Please confirm:
Which finish (FF1, FF2, FF3) applies to each room/area, including:
Reception
Meeting Room
General Staff Area
Members Office
Kitchenette / Dining
Utility / Storeroom
Amenities
Confirm that the nominated finishes align with Clause 4.1 (vinyl vs carpet zones).
Provide the FFE Schedule (or equivalent) defining FF1, FF2 and FF3.

Thank you for your query.
The FFE schedule (Appendix D) outlines the specified materials, along with Sheet 6 of the Typical Electorate Office Layout document (Appendix E), this should indicate the areas for installation and general arrangement.
FF1 for wet areas
FF2 for Kitchenette and storage areas
FF3 for the remainder of the office.

Question
:
Hi Lisa,
It is our understanding that there are 2x existing CCTV cameras to be relocated from the current site. Does this mean there is an existing system installed that meets the security brief of QPS and is there already an NVR and headend unit that can be relocated also.
Answered on 01/May/2026 02:48 PM
:
Thanks for your query.
There is a requirement to relocate the nominated cameras, as well as the NVR prescribed in the security brief.
The relocation of the 2 existing CCTV monitors (in office and in storeroom data rack) and the allowance for cabling to connect the monitors (HDMI and VGA), as well as the supply of any wall mounting brackets necessary is to be considered.

Question
:
Hi Lisa,
Can you please confirm if the landlord will be disconnecting all existing drainage and removing all redundant piping. if not can you please confirm the following:
1. are we required to remove all redundant drainage points and can these be capped off at slab level or are we required to remove the branches back to the sewer mains. the latter will require more slab cutting and remediation works and will be rather costly.
