Details
• The purpose of the project is to procure and install high-quality play equipment (preferably nature based) within the budget allocation of $80,000, enhancing recreational opportunities for the children. All work must be completed as per SCOPE OF WORKS in Attachment 1.

• All necessary groundwork, including levelling, grading, and drainage need to be completed by the builder. The boat and the landing will be retained.

• Site will be ready for installation during the pre-school term1-2 Holidays.

• The project needs to be completed between 07/04/2026 to 15/04/2026.

• Provided a detailed installation plan outlining the sequence of activities, and timelines.

• Multiply submissions are acceptable.

• Provide options for additional equipment pending any additional budget.

Before Christmas , we will award the contractor. But the work needs to be done during the school holiday. We believe there will be 4-8 weeks lead time for the equipment ordering process.

Council is looking for a natural colour palette. However, you can submit multiple submissions with all options including natural timber.

Is it possible to arrange a time to visit the site and take the required measurements, see tree overhangs, path integrations and take some photos? We would need to see the site this week so that we could be best prepared for submission on the 3rd December.

Would Council have a more detailed plan of the site that shows where all the trees are located within the space and any underground services that we need to be aware of.

We do not have a detailed plan available.

We have added extra photos for your reference. Please see Addendum 1.

Alternatively, the Contract Manager is happy to organise to meet on site to allow for measurements to be taken etc.

Is the budget for supply and install only, is the option for the equipment removal and softfall newal within the budget or extra over?

The current budget is primarily allocated for the supply and installation of the new equipment.

However, Council would request that you submit your pricing using two separate options within your tender proposal.

One being supply and install only.

For the second please provide the cost including the equipment removal and softfall renewal as separate, clearly defined optional items.
