The Supplier will be required to develop and deliver a Gambling Harm Screening and Brief Intervention Training Program 2026-2029 that will equip health and social service professionals with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to identify, address, and mitigate the impacts of gambling harm on Queensland individuals, families, and communities.

The resulting contract (under Service Agreement Standard Terms) will be for an initial period of three (3) years from 1 October 2026, with the possibility of two (2) x one (1) year extensions.

The Supplier must meet the following mandatory requirements:

(a) Suppliers adhere to the Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct.

(b) Hold the following insurances or, if successful in this ITO process, undertakes to obtain the following insurances before the contract commencement date.

- Workers Compensation Insurance in accordance with the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld), or as required by law.

- Public Liability Insurance for a minimum of $10 million in respect of each claim

(c) Supplier has the capacity and capability to deliver the Services offered, either in their own right or through subcontracting arrangements.

(d) Program will be delivered statewide.

Business readiness – if the Supplier does not meet mandatory criterion (b) at the time of making its submission, it must provide details in its Offer how it will meet that criterion before the contract commencement date.
