Woollahra Municipal Council invites tenders from experienced commercial operators to lease, equip, operate and manage the Trumper Park Tennis Centre located next to 2-4 Quarry Street, Paddington, New South Wales 2021
The Tennis Centre comprises:
(a) the six (6) Courts with synthetic grass surfacing, the surrounding and dividing fencing, court lighting, court netting;
(b) main building containing the kiosk, male and female toilets/change room facilities, office and storeroom;
(c) landscaped gardens;
(d) paved area adjacent to kiosk with awning;
(e) courtside cabanas with fixed seating;
(f) pathways and paved areas
on the Reserve, managed as Council-community land

Details
All Tenderers must submit a fully Conforming Tender for a Lease for the Tennis Centre as identified in the plan shown in Part E Attachment 2.
The Courts are to be used exclusively for the purpose of playing tennis. This is pursuant to a resolution of Council dated 28 October 2024. No sporting or recreational activity other than tennis is permitted for the Courts. Any proposal contained in a Tender for a sport or recreational activity other than tennis for use of the Courts will not be considered by Council.
The successful Tenderer will be required to enter into a Lease of the Tennis Centre with the Council for seven (7) years (commencing on a date as agreed between the Council and the successful Tenderer) upon the terms and conditions of the attached Lease (including a conditional option to renew the Lease for one (1) further seven (7) years).

Do all parties from your business need to attend or can 1-2 representatives attend?

We confirm that the site inspection is scheduled for 10:30 AM, as stated in the tender documents. We apologise for the oversight.
Regarding attendance, at least one representative is required to attend the pre-tender meeting.

Just a couple questions if you dont mind.
1. With consideration to the separate F&B Provider - are operators able to sell drinks, snacks via the golf proshop when purchasing rounds of golf / merchandise?
2. What is the height of the proshop? With consideration for virtual golf.

Part A Tender Information (page 5) permitted use of premises means a tennis court centre, exclusively for the playing of tennis only. The permitted use includes the sale of food, beverages and merchandise related to the use of the courts for the playing of tennis from the Kiosk. Alternative uses, including as a “multi-use” courts or other sports or uses, is NOT permitted.
