Byron Shire is a local government area located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. The shire is located adjacent to the Tasman Sea about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of the Queensland border. The shire, administered from the town of Mullumbimby, covers an area of 566.7 square kilometres (218.8 sq mi), and has existed as a local government entity since 1906. The shire was named for Cape Byron, itself named by Captain Cook in May 1770 in honour of Vice-Admiral John Byron.

Works must comply with:

• TfNSW R132 – Safety Barrier Specification (Oct 2023)

• TfNSW R0710 – Safety Barrier Series Drawings

• MASH Compliance certification is mandatory.



Removal and replacement of existing guardrail in accordance with relevant standards, any installation other than like for like will need to have a quote provided for an alternate solution that includes an allowance to have a design provided by a suitably qualified person

The offer is to include all materials, plant and labour as required to complete the Works. This includes an allowance for traffic control and service location.

Each site is to be priced individually. Council will review the submitted prices and award a scope of works based on available budget allocations.

Question:
- Can the images from the provided excel spreadsheet be given as raw png files seperated per site in relevant files

- Where like for like replacement isn't compliant does an allowance for a design need to be provided. I.e if replacing a damaged terminal with an ET-SS rather than an ET-2000 is this allowance required?

- Are brief site descriptions available for desired works?
