Question:
Schedule 3 sets out the evaluation criteria.

It is noted that the mandatory criteria are as follows:

• MC 1 Queensland Government Charter for Local Content: requested in Response Annexure K (although it (incorrectly?) refers to MC 3)

• MC 2 Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct: requested in Annexure E and I

• MC 3 Demonstrated experience in delivering similar scoped projects in the past 10 years in Australia / Asia Pacific Region: Annexure E

• MC 4 Modern Slavery Questionnaire: Annexure J

For the Non-Price Criteria there is Annexure F, where the Offeror is requested for “Criteria [1] – Previous Experience”. This relates to NP 1.

Can you confirm that annexure F includes all Non-Price Criteria that must be included in the Offer?

If other NP criteria are to be included, please advise page count and format.

Answered on 19/Jun/2026 12:36 PM:

Sunwater confirms the following updates to the RFO document re issued:

1. Schedule 1 Item 15 - Amend to read Queensland Government Charter for Local Content (MC1)

2. Response Annexure K - Amend to read Queensland Government Charter for Local Content (MC1)

3. Response Annexure F - Amended to include further detail regarding responses to Sunwater evaluation criteria.

4. Revised SW333_RFO_Kroombit Dam Passive Dowelling Works_Rev1.0 [190626] issued via VP.

Question:
Can we please provide alternative waterstops to the ones proposed on the drawings as they are quite an old waterstop. we are able to supply a more robust and forgiving product.

Answered on 24/Jun/2026 02:04 PM:

No waterstops are included in the passive dowel installation Issued For Tender (IFT) design. The reference to waterstops relate to the

original dam as-built drawings, which were provided within the IFT pack for background information only and do not

form part of the current scope.

The current proposed design is defined by the following drawings:

• 92701 – Locality Plan

• 265739-C (Sheets 1–3) – General Arrangement

• 265740-C (Sheets 1–2) – Arrangement

• 265741-C – Fabrication

• 265742-C (Sheets 1–3) – Construction Sequence

Please refer to the drawing schedule (page 1) of the IFT pack for further information.

Accordingly, no substitution of waterstops is required.

Question:
Contractor seeks clarity on the following:

SW333_Picing Schedule.xlsx - Pay item 3.2 states 'Breakout of 500mm Square x 500 deep Anchor Head Cavity'

SW333_Drawing Pack - Drawing 265740 and 265742 detail the anchor head cavity as a 500dia hole

Can Sunwater please confirm that pay item 3.2 is a typo, and the design intent is for a 500mm diameter hole?

Further to this, can a contractor propose resizing anchor recess diameter to suit the top assembly of the passive dowel?

Answered on 24/Jun/2026 02:05 PM:

Sunwater confirms that the anchor head cavity is intended to be circular, as shown on the drawings. The reference to a 500mm square cavity in the Pricing Schedule is a typo error.

The drawings and specification require a minimum 500mm diameter, with a tolerance of +50 / -0mm (i.e. up to 550mm), formed by rotary coring. The minimum diameter ensures sufficient clearance for the diagonal of the square end plate and the cavity interface.

If access for installation becomes constrained, minor increases may be considered within reason. Any increase in diameter will also result in increased grout and mortar volumes.

Question:
Can SunWater please confirm that pay Item 3.3 - Drill, Install, grout & testing of Sacrificial Anchor refers to the Monitorable Anchor M1-SA1.

Additionally, please confirm:

- No load monitoring is required as part of this works?

- The monitorable anchor is not required to be completed before progressing works on the other permanent anchors ie a test anchor?

Question:
We're currently preparing our submission for the above tender and would like to request a short extension to the closing date to Friday 17 July 2026.

Due to the time needed to finalise supplier and subcontractor pricing, an extension to 17 July 2026 would help us provide a more complete and competitive submission.

Thanks for considering our request. We look forward to your response.
