Question:
1. Trail and Bushwalking Pathways

Are there any bushwalking paths or steps / staircases present along the trails within the project scope?

2. Carparks, Kerbs, and Guardrails

These assets are mentioned in the Project Deliverables section as being associated with Asset IDs. However, we were unable to locate any specific data collection requirements or specifications for these items in the tender documents.

Could you please confirm whether carparks, kerbs, and guardrails are part of the data collection scope?

3. Depth Measurement Requirement

The “Depth (mm)” field appears in the provided Attachment3-M2025-121-PathwaysDataCollectionTemplate, but there is no mention of depth measurement in the requirements specifications.

Could you please confirm whether depth measurements are required as part of the condition audit, or if this field is optional or for future use?

Answered on 13/Oct/2025 02:12 PM:

Answers to each question detailed below:

1. There are no bushwalking paths they are all constructed pathways, there may be stairs present in some areas however.

2. Carparks, Kerbs and Guardrails are not part of the scope or a deliverable, it is pathways only, this is an error in the document and an addendum will be sent out shortly to correct this.

3. There is no requirement for the tenderer to measure the depth of the pathway, as this is not practical from a data capture perspective, this will be confirmed in the addendum sent out.

Question:
Can MASC please clarify/confirm the following:

- what is the GIS software currently in use by MASC?

- is Assetic set up with automatic integrations between the asset management software and council's GIS software environment?

- is council considering that software solutions to enable visualisation of reference images and related condition data may require purchasing of software or ongoing software subscriptions (depending on capacity for internally hosting or need for cloud hosting) to maintain the project deliverable working environment?

- Can council elaborate/detail any current systems in use with this capability to provide us with the opportunity to identify cost savings by utilising existing software licensing in our proposal?

Answered on 16/Oct/2025 10:46 AM:

Answers to the questions raised are as follows:

1. Council uses Intramaps as its GIS interface.

2. Yes - currently Intramaps is integrated with Assetic in a two way fashion, new GIS assets are created in Intramaps and then linked via asset ID to the Assetic Database.

3. Typically consultants in the past have packaged up the referenced images and viewing software that can be run locally on Council’s software. The cost of providing this software should be included in the tenderers price. Council does not want to have to purchase additional software or have ongoing software subscriptions to pay to access the imaging.

4. Council does not have existing software/viewer that provides this functionality.
