Suppliers are invited by The Port of Townsville (the Port) to submit an offer for Contract Number P11712 for the provision of “Construction Only of Sections 3 & 4 Palmer / Ross Street Transit Corridor Upgrades as specified in Schedule 2 – Scope of Work.

The Port is committed to advancing the economic, environmental and social objectives including maximising local supplier opportunities to participate in business, supporting regional and remote economies, and doing business with ethically, environmentally and socially responsible suppliers.

Details

With a focus on the Waterfront elements of Connectivity, Public Realm and Water's Edge, this project will deliver much-needed capital improvements to existing Port assets while providing better opportunity for the Townsville community and visitors to interact with Ross Creek, and efficient active transport connectivity between Quayside Terminal and the city centre.

The purpose of this project is to implement initial capital works improvements to the project footprint that will create active transport connection between Lighthouse Park and the Car Ferry Terminal where there is currently a mixture footpath that is either in good condition, poor condition or missing.
