Details
Queensland Hydro is proposing to commence a procurement process for a Delivery Partner in early 2026. The role of the Delivery Partner will be to support Queensland Hydro with subsequent stages including procurement of main works packages, award of main works contracts, and readiness for service/handover.

This Forward Procurement Notice provides further information regarding that process and invites prospective delivery partner organisations to complete a Registration of Interest (ROI) Form as a pre-requisite to being invited to participate in the future Delivery Partner procurement process.

The procurement process will comprise an Expression of Interest (EOI) Phase followed by a Request for Tender (RFT) Phase to identify a Delivery Partner to be appointed following Business Case approval expected in Q2/early Q3 2026 .

Not construction contractors. Contractors who are structured and capable of assisting QLD Hydro to manage multiple contractors and provide EPCM style support.

The clear scope of the role is currently in development but the Role of the Borumba Delivery Partner will be to support Queensland Hydro by providing integrated oversight and coordination across multiple contractors. This role is essential for managing complex interfaces and ensuring alignment with project objectives as packaging decisions evolve.

A summary of the proposed scope for the Delivery Partner will be included in the Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI), with further details provided during the Request for Tender (RFT) phase.
