Boulia Shire Council is seeking suppliers to create a new Register of Prequalified Suppliers (RPQS or ROPS) for the supply of Plant Hire, Trade Services and Material Supply for a fixed three-year term with two 12-month options for renewal after the fixed term (a 5-year Contract term).

Suitably qualified Tenderers with proven capability, capacity, and sound financial and technical background to deliver the Specification outlined in this Request for Tender (RFT).

Tenderers participating in this Tender process can elect to supply a combination of plant, equipment, products, materials, goods and services across the three Categories- 1) Plant Hire (17 sub-categories), 2)Trade Services (23 sub-categories) and 3) Supply of Materials (7 sub-categories). Once selected as members of the panel, there is an annual entitlement for a review of Tendered pricing on the second and third 12-month periods of the contract. The ROPS will be renewed annually to allow for new suppliers to join for the remainder of the Term at Council discretion, with no guarantee of work during the entire term.

Hello, Enquiry to Pest Control - As Pest Control varies dependant on type of work required and size of treatment area. It is not charged at an hourly rate, as does for an example a plumber. Can you please supply a property list and types of treatments that would be required? Snake attendance would be a seperate charge to Pest Control. Thank you

With regards to the pest control, can you please clarify what pests you are mainly wanting done. Eg, spiders, cockroaches & household ants. The area also has issues with singapore ants - can you confirm on all these pests you are wanting treatment for.

All Works performed for Council must adhere with the Commonwealth & State Legislative requirements for Work Health & Safety ( i.e.WHS Act 2011), QBCC and Work Cover Queensland \ Insurance requirements for any Construction operations work- including use of scaffolds.

Yes. For the proposed 5-year Term it is likely some Telecommunications services will be required by Council from Tender Respondents who were evaluated and became approved members of the newly established Register of Prequalified Suppliers
