Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.

Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) is seeking responses to the Invitation to Offer for the Provision of Oral Health and Dental Services (Outsourced).

CHHHS is looking to appoint Service Providers (Dentists) to an established Panel to assist with patient needs. The arrangement will be by way of a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA).

The three categories of dental services required are:

(a) Emergency,

(b) General dental, and

(c) Prosthodontic dental services.



Services are required across the following locations within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service geographical area:

• Cairns Region (including Northern and Southern Corridors)

• Cassowary Coast (Innisfail and Tully)

• Tablelands Region (Mareeba and Atherton)

• Douglas Shire (Mossman and Port Douglas)


Offerors may apply for one, two, or all three categories.
