4. Design & Construct (D&C) Scope:

Is the AV scope to be treated as a complete Design & Construct (D&C) engagement, or are there elements of the design or installation that will be provided by others? Such as stage curtains, drapping etc. or is this to be included in the AV design package?

5. Integration with Existing Infrastructure:

Can you provide Electrical and Infrastructure or as-built drawings documentation for tenderers?

6. User Experience and Control Requirements:

What are the expectations for user interfaces and control systems in each space? Is remote management or monitoring required? Will control of the Auditorium be specific to the VIP Room Biobox control desk at the open glass location into the Auditorium?

7. Live Streaming and Recording:

What are the requirements for live streaming and recording in each space? Are there preferred platforms, quality standards, or storage/archiving expectations?

8. Maintenance and Support Expectations:

What are the expectations for ongoing maintenance, support response times, and warranty coverage for AV systems? Is there a preferred support model (on-call, scheduled, remote diagnostics)?

9. Accessibility and Inclusion:

Are there specific accessibility or assistive technology requirements for AV systems (e.g., hearing augmentation, captioning, accessible controls) in any of the spaces?

10. Temporary vs. Permanent Installations:

For spaces like the Fountain Room, Studio, and VIP Room, should AV solutions be primarily permanent, mobile, or a hybrid? Are there restrictions on permanent fixtures?

11. Network requirements:

Is there a requirement for all AV systems to be installed on an isolated (dedicated) network managed and monitored remotely, or should AV equipment be integrated into the existing Council network? Additionally, is remote support and troubleshooting via a dedicated server PC expected as part of the solution? This information is crucial for the AV system design, security, and support model.

Hi Ian, In the auditorium above the stage, there are 4 steel rod droppers each with eyelets that are suspended from a structural beam so the flown audio components can be mounted from these. Kind regards, Council

Q2. Also, can you confirm locations and weights supports for the proposed locations of the lighting bars? A2. The lighting bars are existing and are available for site survey should tenderers wish to attend site.

Tender schedules item 4 - Schedule of provisional sum item A - Power and data to curtains. I don't see any supply of curtains in the scope of works. Have I missed something?
