The Principal is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced organisations for the construction of the landfill cell 3c and associated works at the Nambucca Valley Waste Management Facility located at 711 Old Coast Road Nambucca Heads (Corner of Wirrimbi & Old Coast Roads).

Works are to be carried out in accordance with the design plans NNWMF Cell 3c Design of Landfill Floor, the construction quality assurance plan and technical design report meeting the Guidelines for Solid Waste Landfills (EPA, 2016), Australian Standards and manufacture guidelines.

An overview of works required comprising of but not limited to;

• Supply, place and install geotechnical liners on the landfill floor and batters

• Supply, place and install leachate collection pipes in the landfill cell floor

• Supply, place, extend collection pipes to the leachate collection system to convey leachate to the pond/ reinjection tank

• Supply, place and install an aggregate drainage layer over the landfill floor

No Pre-Tender meeting has been set. All communications with the Principal and all requests for information or clarification with regard to this Request for Tenders (RFT) must be made through the Principal’s E-Tendering platform Vendor Panel.

Requests for information or clarification will be directed to the nominated Contact Person. The Contact Person will respond in writing and may issue an addendum related to the enquiry and the response if required.

The Principal reserves the right not to respond to enquiries made within 5 Business Days prior to the close of tenders.

Tenderers should not approach the Contact Person directly unless requested to do so or unless an urgent response is required for an inspection date or similar.
