Purpose

Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking to ensure male and female prisoners and offenders across Queensland gain the assistance required to successfully address their Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) needs.

Details
Government priorities under the “Making Queensland Safer” framework emphasises programs and interventions that break the cycle of offending through evidence-based practices and effective rehabilitation strategies. QCS delivers this commitment through evidence-informed correctional practices and targeted rehabilitation programs delivered in partnership with government and non-government providers. To assist in meeting these priorities, QCS is contracting provider/s to deliver the Alcohol and Other Drugs Foundation and Intervention Model in correctional centres and a Counselling Model in community corrections.

Details
The Provider must deliver an in-person Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Program Delivery Service to specified correctional centres and / or counselling in community.

The Service Delivery Model outlines the strategic framework defining how the Provider will align their service delivery with the requirements of QCS.
