The Southern Downs Regional Council was formed on the 15th of March 2008 as an outcome of the Queensland Local Government Reform process. This new governing body encompasses the areas previously occupied by the Warwick and Stanthorpe Shire Councils.

Southern Downs Regional Council (“Council”) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor/s to provide design, and construction works for two landslip sites as part of Council’s 2025 DRFA Program.

The sites are located east of Warwick in the Swanfel area.

The sites are located on Days Road, Swanfels and Top Swanfels Road, Swanfels. Refer to Attachments C and D for location maps.

A site assessment and option analysis of the sites has been undertaken by Engeo (Australia) Pty Ltd through their Brisbane office. Refer to Attachments A and B.

Works are targeted for completion by 12 March 2027.
